GLOBAL CONCEPT : Specs ops

The package is divided into 2 parts:

First part Intervention vest + pants

Second part: Carry pack for the Intervention vest

General characteristics:

The vest is as follows:

A/ Adapted to various sizes & forms, based on 9 sizes

No female vest is planned, but the suppleness of this vest could allow a woman to wear it, if needed, with an acceptable level of comfort.

B/The additional parts worn externally are adapted to frequent outside use: which means they are water resistant and tear resistant.

C/ easy cleaning by removing all the ballistic parts in order to be able to wash the cover

D/ can be put on rapidly, without help from anybody

E/ allows equipment necessary for SWAT missions to be carried

F/ Is of an acceptable weight and a good weight distribution

G/ Some of the external parts have Velcro on the front and rear, to fix the police patch. Some patches are fixed where the plates are (in case the antagonists shoot at those patches).

The visible parts of the vest are matt black (on the outside)

The concealable vest is tan in color (on the outside)

There is a second cover for the concealable vest.

H/ Resistant to a wide variety of aggression:

• by the addition of trauma plates
• fire resistant.

 

Description

1/ Ballistic concealable vest

Supple and comfortable

Goes around the body at 360° to protect all vital points.

Has a front pocket to insert a Ballistic Rigid Plate

Both side front parts cover the side back parts.

Cover is resistant to perspiration and to a minimum of 20 washes at 40°C

Cover is hypoallergenic and is neither abrasive, nor electro-static

Cover has Velcro inside (on the top) to attach the ballistic pack (so that the ballistic pack does not slip when bullets hit it).

Cover does not have any flaps (to insert in the pants)

6 Fixing points allow the side front parts to cover the side back parts. This also allows adjustment to suit the size of the wearer.

The fixing points are not visible through clothes, even when worn with summer clothes.

 

 

2/ Ballistic Carrier Plate Vest

This  vest is bigger and covers a greater area:  shoulders, sides under the arms, front and back and it has a pocket to carry both front and back plates.

The vest is made to carry front and back plates. These are called the Ballistic Front Plate & Ballistic Back Plate

The vest has:

• female Velcro on the back (size 20 X 10 cm)
• female Velcro on the front (size 13 X 4 cm)
• female Velcro on the front (size 5 X 5 cm)

Shoulder areas in contact with submachine, rifle or assault guns are non slip.

On the front there is an  A.L.I.C.E. clip-able band sized 25 cm long 5 cm high.

3/ Ballistic Adjustable Groin Protection

Ballistic Back Protection

- protect femoral artery, the genitals and spine

- are in a pocket with a pull-on strap

- height adjustable, depending on size of wearer

 

 

 

 

 

4/ Ballistic Removable Collar and Shoulder Protection

• allows  use of gas mask, helmet, with or without visor, and/or other equipment…
• an extrication strap, resistant to 200 kilos of traction, is added on the back.
• A plate pocket is added at the junction of the neck and shoulder protection.

 

5/ Load Bearing Front & Rear Plates Only

Made to carry front and back plates

Made with fast opening buckles, adjustable to the size of the wearer.

With 2 pockets (one front, one back)

On the back of each pocket there is a pocket for a trauma cushion.

This removable trauma insert is made so that the LBFRPO can be washed.

Color is matt black.

 

6/ Ballistic removable arm protection

Protects the arm

Can be worn with or without the other elements

Color is matt black

 

 

 

 

 

7/ Ballistic Leg Protection

• protects the legs : thigh & leg protection
• articulation between thigh & legs allows full mobility
• Ballistic rigid plates are inserted in pockets to protect Class IV

 

 

 

 

 

8/ Removable Arm protection

Protects the weak hand from bullets

Fully Class IV

Fits any size

 

 

 

 

9/ Carrying bag

Color is matt black

Can be carried by its handle, on one shoulder, or like a backpack.

When carrying the pack by its handle, all the other straps can be easily detached and stored.

Zip and buckle are matt black and are not noisy

A pocket is available for the user’s manual

Some female Velcro has been added

Resists humidity, moisture and rough use.

Bottom, rear and front of the bag have added foam to resist shocks.

As well as the traditional way of opening and closing the bag, a fast opening system allows  elements to be put in or taken out.

Easy access to all parts.

The CB has the necessary pocket and compartment to allow the storage of all the Global Concept bulletproof gear
