Fabrice G. MAGNIER - Chairman

Fabrice G. MAGNIER joined the French Navy at the age of 17, and spent 10 years as a French Navy Commando, notably in the Navy SEALs unit, the elite Commando HUBERT.

Attracted by further adventure and challenge, he left the Navy to serve as a free-lance consultant, advising corporations on resolving incidents of kidnapping, extortion, terrorism threats, and managing energy project security.

Fabrice has personally participated in or managed over 100 interventions in high-risk countries.

In 1997, observing the growing global terrorism threat, he decided to found Defense Control, creating what has since become one of the pre-eminent niche security businesses in Europe.

 

Patrick C. Hamon - Chief Executive Officer

After leaving the Army in 1980, Patrick spent 6 years with a company developing an efficient network in Africa, Asia, and the Middle-East providing assistance in high-risk countries for both the public and private sectors.

In 1986, he founded the company, the AUTHENTIC, specializing in providing the finest tactical equipment in Europe.

In 1997, Patrick joined Fabrice G. Magnier in founding Defense Control, based on the obvious synergy between their two ares of expertise, tactical products and consulting services.

 

Patrice VIT - Vice-President,  Consulting and Operations Divisions

Patrice VIT spent 18 years in the French Navy, specifically as a member of the world famous Commando HUBERT. ?During that exceptional experience, he was involved in numerous interventions, including hostage rescues, expatriate evacuations, and covert intelligence missions.  Patrice was responsible for setting up one of the first maritime anti-terrorist units in the Navy.  He personally recruited, trained, and supervised his staff in various operational theaters.

In 1998, Patrice joined Defense Control as Operations Manager. He has personally conducted or supervised more than 500 missions. In 2004 he was appointed  Vice-President of Defense Control's Consulting and Operations Departments.

At 47, he is recognized throughout Europe as one of the most experienced specialists in counter-terrorist solutions.
