• When was Defense Control founded ?

Defense Control was founded in 1996 in Luxembourg.

• Who owns Defense Control ?

The company is independent, with employees owning 100 % of the shares.

• What does Defense Control do ?

Security consultancy: Defense Control advises industry or government organizations on developing and implementing corporate security strategy to reduce the risks to their people, information and physical assets.

When necessary, we deploy specialist security coordinators or security advisors in operational fields such as construction sites, oil installations and expatriate communities.

Crisis response: In case of abduction, terrorism threat or product extortion, Defense Control will immediately deploy consultants, or highly qualified teams, to advise on negotiation strategies, liaise with local law enforcement and train local operators. Our role is strictly advisory: we do not intervene.

Armoring business: Our Armoring Division develops armored vehicles dedicated to support organizations facing military threats. We are the first company in the world to built a fully B7 armored commercial vehicle.

Assault system: The Tactical Division provides government agencies with the top assault system, enabling intervention units to reach targets up to 9 m high. Defense Control is the world leader in this field.

• What is the reason for combining the Products and Consulting divisions ?

The reason goes back to the Group’s origins. The two major partners were working in separate fields of activity : products and consultancy.  Combining their expertise enables Defense Control to bring a variety of solutions to its clients.

• What is the B7 armoring level ?

The B7 level can stop armor piercing ammunition 7,62 x 51 AP shot by sniper’s rifle. It protects VIPs or operators from snipers and Kalashnikov attacks. Unlike the B6 level which does not stop such ammunition.

• Who does Defense Control employ ?

Defense Control mainly employs a range of professionals to ensure a multi-disciplined approach to the work undertaken for clients. Our people have backgrounds in special armed forces, government, law enforcement, world quality processes and industrial production

• Where is Defense Control based ?

Defense Control is based in Luxembourg, France and the USA

• Who are Defense Control’s clients ?

The majority of our clients are large multi-nationals and Government agencies

• Where does Defense Control work ?

Defense Control intervenes in more than 60 countries, from corporate buildings to  operational hot spots targeted by terrorism, kidnap and low intensity conflicts.

• What are Defense Control’s relationships with Chubb Insurances ?

Relationships with Chubb started in early 1999. Chubb Insurances Company was looking for an independent, serious security consulting company.   Today we can offer our clients : insurance coverage -  risk rating – risk assessment – crisis response
