The last 5 years have been significant for those countries which support the ideas of democracy and liberty.  In contrast to these ideals, terrorism is progressively becoming part of our daily lives.  Mafias are organizing themselves further to widen their networks; kidnapping and extortion are becoming major sources of income; organized crime and terrorism are growing in scale and the perpetrators are equipping themselves with increasingly sophisticated materiel.

The forces allied to maintain order throughout the world are charged with our protection.  In order to succeed in this mission they need tools which are equal to the task.  Potential targets, whether they be public officials or private citizens, need to be equally protected.

Since the beginning of history man has always sought to develop increasingly deadly weapons.  In response to that quest, the race for protection from those weapons has raged.  The recent advent of increasingly effective armor-piercing ammunition has unfortunately not been met by sufficiently effective armored protection. 

The objective is simple; in order to be protected from the threat of attack, the level of protection must exceed the armor-piercing capacity of the ammunition used by attackers.

At Defense Control we capitalize on the experience of those who are or have been confronted by real danger.  We make it a point of honor to draw on its very essence, and to develop innovative protection techniques.  Our Threat Evaluation Unit is constantly seeking innovative solutions in close collaboration with the official services of a variety of countries.

We scrupulously respect the International Ballistic Armor Standards.  Our quality label is the guarantee of life for those who are exposed to commercial or military threats on the ground.  For this reason all of our armor testing is done to meet the letter and the intent of these international standards; our armor plating is tested and proven to stop ammunition fired at any angle, up to and including 90° shots.  (Many purveyors of ballistic protection products use fine print to define the very limited angles at which their products will actually stop the ammunition they claim to protect against.)

Our products are designed to meet draconian operational demands, with regard to ballistics as well as tactics.  What has long been the highest level of ballistic protection commercially available, the B6 Standard, no longer meets the evolving operational threats from readily available military ammunition.  To meet these new threats we offer two higher levels of protection, STANAG 2, and B7.   Our innovative armored vehicles offer these higher protective levels, while improving the initial performance and handling of the vehicles.
